High-gloss polished concrete floor in commercial space

Surface Systems

Polished Floors

Ground, polished, and densified to your specification — from matte industrial to mirror-finish architectural. 200–3000 grit finish options.

The Process

Mechanical Grinding.
Chemical Densification.

Polished concrete is not a coating — it's the concrete itself, mechanically refined with progressively finer diamond tooling and chemically densified to create a floor that gets harder over time.

The result is a low-maintenance floor that repels staining, withstands abrasion, and never requires waxing or stripping. Total cost of ownership is lower than virtually any competing floor system.

Our process begins with a concrete hardness assessment to determine the correct tooling matrix — a step most contractors skip and the primary cause of uneven aggregate exposure and premature wear.

Finish Options

Aggregate Profiles

Salt & Pepper

Level 1–2

The standard polished concrete look — minimal aggregate exposure showing the natural sand and cement matrix. Ideal for modern interiors where a clean, monolithic appearance is preferred.

200–3000 grit finish

Medium Aggregate

Level 3

Partial aggregate exposure reveals stones up to 3/8" diameter. Creates visual interest and texture variation across the floor plane. Popular in retail and hospitality environments.

200–3000 grit finish

Full Aggregate

Level 4

Maximum aggregate exposure with large stone sections fully visible. Dramatic, terrazzo-like appearance. Requires strategic grinding and benefits from premium aggregate specification at pour.

Scope of Work

What's Included

Diamond Grinding & Preparation

All polished concrete begins with proper surface preparation. We use planetary-head grinders with calibrated diamond tooling to flatten, open, and profile the slab before any densifier application.

Chemical Densification

Lithium silicate densifier penetrates the concrete matrix and reacts with free calcium to create additional CSH — making the surface harder, denser, and more resistant to abrasion.

Color & Dye Integration

Water-based and acetone-based dye systems provide unlimited color possibilities without obscuring aggregate. Applied post-grinding for full penetration into the exposed matrix.

Decorative Scoring

Saw-cut patterns create visual zones, simulate tile layouts, or provide wayfinding cues. Patterns are engineered in AutoCAD and executed with GPS-guided saws for precision layout.
